Conversion Engineering

Conversion engineering. Not landing page redesigns.

Funnel instrumented end-to-end: heatmaps, session replay, server-side events, CRM joins. AI-generated variants tested weekly against real conversion data. Same traffic, more pipeline.

Same traffic.
More pipeline.

We instrument your funnel as engineering work, not just installing Hotjar. Server-side events, CRM joins, AI-generated variants, statistical + practical significance both required before shipping.

Instrument as engineering

Server-side events, CRM joins, heatmaps, session replay. See exactly where pipeline leaks before changing a single pixel. No "install Hotjar and call it instrumentation."

AB 02

Run AI-generated experiments

A/B/n tests on hero, pricing, demo flow, signup. AI generates variants, you ship the ones with quant + qual backing. Statistical significance + practical significance both required.

03

Codify winners to system

Winning variants ported into the design system. Knowledge base of every test + result so learnings compound across pages, not get lost in Notion.

What's different

Most CRO is opinion + Hotjar. Ours is engineering + AI.

Traditional agency
Instrumentation Server-side events, CRM joins, funnel events. Engineering work. Install Hotjar. Call it instrumentation.
Hypothesis Quant + qual signal. Predicted lift. Decision criteria documented. "I think the button should be bigger."
Variants AI-generated A/B/n variants. Tested weekly. Designer mocks one alternative. Maybe two.
Codification Winning variant ported to design system. Learnings compound. Win logged in Notion. Forgotten by Q4.

Conversion Engineering questions

How long does CRO take to show results?+
You will see early wins within 2-4 weeks as we fix obvious friction points. Statistically significant A/B test results typically take 4-8 weeks depending on your traffic volume. The first 90 days is where the biggest lifts happen because most SaaS sites have never been systematically optimized.
Do you work on our existing landing pages or build new ones?+
Both. We audit your existing pages first and prioritize quick wins like headline testing, CTA placement, and form optimization. If a page is fundamentally broken from a conversion architecture standpoint, we rebuild it. Most clients see the biggest lifts from optimizing what they already have before building net new pages.
What tools do you use for CRO?+
We use a combination of quantitative and qualitative tools. Heatmaps and session recordings via Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity. A/B testing through VWO, Optimizely, or Google Optimize. Analytics via GA4 and Mixpanel. We work with whatever is already in your stack and recommend additions only when there are clear gaps.
How much traffic do we need for A/B testing?+
For statistically valid results, you need roughly 1,000 visitors per variation per month as a baseline. If your traffic is lower, we focus on high-impact qualitative changes, user testing, and sequential testing rather than running underpowered split tests that produce misleading data.
What is the difference between CRO and just redesigning our website?+
A redesign is a guess. CRO is a system. Redesigns change everything at once, making it impossible to know what actually moved the needle. CRO isolates variables, tests hypotheses, and compounds proven improvements over time. We have seen redesigns tank conversion rates because they prioritized aesthetics over conversion architecture. We test before we ship.
Do you only optimize landing pages or the full funnel?+
The full funnel. Landing pages are usually where we start because they are the highest-leverage point, but we optimize everything from ad click to closed deal. That includes pricing pages, signup flows, onboarding screens, trial-to-paid conversion, and in-app upgrade prompts. The biggest revenue gains often come from fixing drop-off points deeper in the funnel.
